Wine of the Princes, Prince of wines. Princes cuvée, first made its appearance in 1850, and is said to have been exclusively produced for the Princes of Orange. At the time, the Royal Family of Holland used a decanter to serve Champagne in order to remove sediment from it. In 1961, the owner of de Venoge decided to use this decanter shape to produce their emblematic bottle. The Princes result from a careful selection of grapes from the best crus of Champagne. They are characterized by their elegance and freshness underlined by a subtle bitterness.
